3.Safe and stable clearance performance
4.Significant small and medium molecule clearance performance
Product Advantages
PES material for safer and more stable performance
Comparison of the properties of PES and PSF membranes:
1.High glass transition temperature (Tg), 230℃ for PES and 190℃ for PSF
2.The PES membrane is hydrophilic and has low protein adsorption. Little contact with water, 67° for PES and 89° for PSF.
3.Methyl radicals (-CH3) can be generated when PESO is in contact with strong oxidizing agents, which has a great impact on human body. The (-o-) bond in PESO replaces(-C-(CH3)2, which does not generate methyl radicals and has a significant impact on the long-term reuse of the membrane.
Uniform and consistent membrane pore distribution
Sieve-enhanced membrane structures have a more uniform pore size and distribution than traditional dialysis membranes, ensuring optimal small and medium molecule clearance.
Active Surface Management-A.S.M.: Reduce protein adsorption and effectively reduce blood membrane reactions
Active Surface Management-A.S.M. is an active treatment on the hydrophobic surface of the membrane and the charge near the membrane pores, so that the inner surface of the membrane can produce a certain degree of "point repulsion"(see the Figure) to the proteins in the blood, platelets and blood cells, and reduce the adsorption of proteins on the membrane.
Figure: The red area indicates the hydrophobic region (PES), the green area indicates the hydrophilic region (PVP), and the blue dots indicate the active center.
Wave design, greatly improving the clearance of small and medium molecules.
P.E.T.'s patented design minimizes membrane overlap and maintains a reasonable gap between membranes, allowing for a more balanced flow and distribution of dialysate, maximizing the effective area of the membrane and allowing for better solute exchange, thereby improving the removal performance of the dialyzer.
Membrane wall cross-section
Compared to competing products, the membrane walls are thinner and the small molecule toxins have less resistance to dispersion, resulting in superior small molecule clearance.
Significant β2 microglobulin clearance capacity
Conventional low-flux dialyzers have an average clearance ofβ2 microglobulin, but Shinva EXCLEAR low-flux has a very significant clearance of medium-moleculeβ2 microglobulin while clearing small-molecule solutes.
The elimination of medium and large molecules is achieved by convection, and the EXCLEAR Series Low-flux Dialyzer has a higher ultrafiltration rate and a higher convective flow rate, thereby increasing the removal of medium molecules.
