SHINVA Showcases Smart Healthcare Solutions During Angolan Ministry of Health Delegation Visit
On January 23, a delegation led by H.E. Dr. Silvia Lutucuta, Minister of Health of the Republic of Angola, visited Shenzhen People’s Hospital (Longhua Branch) for an in-depth inspection and exchange. The delegation was accompanied by representatives from Sinohydro Bureau 11 Co., Ltd. and Cloudbase.
The visit focused on China’s modern hospital management practices and the application of advanced medical technologies. Two benchmark facilities jointly developed with SHINVA Medical Instrument Co., Ltd. (SHINVA)—the Intelligent Endoscopy Center and the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD)—became key highlights of the visit.
Intelligent Endoscopy Center: Advancing Digitalized Clinical Practice
At the Intelligent Endoscopy Center, the delegation experienced SHINVA’s fully integrated digital clinical ecosystem. As a representative project of SHINVA’s smart healthcare solutions, the center demonstrates deep integration of intelligent medical equipment, information management systems, and patient-oriented services.
Smart guidance systems and self-service terminals have significantly improved patient flow efficiency, reducing waiting times by approximately 30%. Advanced cleaning, disinfection, and reprocessing equipment, together with comprehensive safety assurance systems, enhance diagnostic accuracy while reducing the workload of medical staff.
The SHINVA Intelligent Endoscopy Center Centralized Management Platform enables full-process visualization, real-time data analysis, and refined resource allocation, effectively strengthening patient safety. These capabilities were highly recognized by the visiting delegation.
Modern Central Sterile Supply Department: Strengthening Infection Control
The delegation then visited the hospital’s Central Sterile Supply Department to review SHINVA’s professional solutions in hospital infection prevention and control.
Operating under standardized and digitalized management principles, the CSSD integrates SHINVA’s high-performance cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization equipment, together with an information-based traceability system, providing a comprehensive intelligent solution covering the entire lifecycle of reusable medical devices—from collection and classification, cleaning and inspection, packaging and sterilization, to storage and sterile distribution.
During the visit, the delegation closely examined key technical parameters, international certifications, and operational performance of the cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization equipment. They expressed strong interest in the CSSD’s smart, IoT-enabled infection control model, recognizing it as a practical reference for the modernization of healthcare facilities in Angola.
